Darren has a disability including having Asperger’s Syndrome and lives on the East Coast of Scotland.
Over the last year, Darren has been a member of the Scottish Poverty and Inequality Commission's Experts by Experience Panel and has been feeding into work by the Commission to reduce poverty and improve assistance and support provided by government.
He is also a passionate supporter of unpaid carers and is currently working on ways to improve opportunities for other carers and lobbying government to make positive policy changes to meet the needs of carers.
